Makeup is not only about highlighting beauty and accenting your eyes and lips to attend a fabulous party. Some people have brought this form of art to another level using the full potential in it.
And once you open the gate of the real potential of makeup you might become unstoppable. Do this is what Vancouver-based makeup artist Mimi Choi did. Mimi creates stunningly realistic optical illusions on her face with just a touch of her brushes.
The self-taught artist started experimenting on her face at home right after she left her job as a teacher to find something more challenging and something that would help her bring out her creativity to the fullest. Enrolling at a local beauty college has helped her a lot in this.
Her skillful usage of palettes and shadows and mind-blowing 3 dimensionalities gives the viewer the sense that a snake is actually coming out of the artist’s mouth, her face is indeed halved in two or it is really melting.
